Abate, Laura Louise(nee:Garrison), of Fairfield, NJ (formerly of Cedar Grove) on Thursday, October 21, 2004. Beloved wife of Charles P. Abate. Loving mother of Bill Abate and Gay Hartman. Dear sister of Frances Faraday. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Abate passed away Thursday at the Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, NJ. She was born in Clark's Summit, PA and lived in Fairfield, NJ for the past six years having lived prior in Cedar Grove, NJ. She was a self employed beautician before retirng in 1984. Funeral Saturday 10AM from the Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield. Services 11AM at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
