Leonard J Sujkowski

Sujkowski, Leonard J., of Blue Mountain Lake in E. Stroudsburg, PA, formerly of Rutherford, NJ passed away at home on Friday, December 9, 2005. He and his wife Marie were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 21, 2006. Born in Newark, NJ on September 19, 1932, son of the late John and Sophie Sujkowski, he was a Navy veteran serving on the SS Cambria. He worked in the Engineering Dept. of Matheson Gas Products, enjoyed their bowling team, and was an avid Jets fan. He enjoyed preparing traditional holiday meals and was a member of the Polish-American Citizens Club in Lyndhurst, NJ. Len was predeceased by his sister Evelyn. He is survived by his wife Marie (nee Golembieski), son Mark Sujkowski and his wife Mary of Dalton, PA, Christina Ondo and her husband Bill of Paramus, NJ, Diane Fehr of Port Orange, FL, Susan Drozdowski and her husband Chris of Redwood City, CA. He will be loved and remembered for his famous hugs by his seven grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday 9:30am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ with a 10:30am Mass at St. Michael's RC Church. Friends will be received Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9pm.
