Lillian Edyth Midgley (nee Jacobs), of Palisades Park, who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister,
passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on April 20, 1949 and lived in
Cliffside Park and Fort Lee through her childhood. On November 11, 1973 she married Eric Midgley,
together they had eight children. She cherished spending time in her home with family, baking for
volunteer and community organizations. She enjoyed her career as a receptionist of many years where
her warm, friendly voice was a reflection of her character. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church
and was formerly a member of the church choir, Sunday School teacher, Board of Education member,
PTA member, cub scout leader and girl scout leader. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, her
children Kristie and Jorge Sanint, Erik Midgley, Brooke and Tom Abson, Carrie Midgley, Luke Midgley,
Sara and Walter Condi, Candice Midgley, Cody Midgley, and her grandchildren Mackenzie, Logan,
Cameron, Melanie, Keelan, Fionn, Austin, Faith, Cassandra, her sister Klare and Paul Schaum,
nephews, nieces, and cousins among other loved ones. She is predeceased by her parents,
Harold and Edith Jacobs, and her grand-daughter Klara. Funeral Saturday 9:30AM from the Hunt-
Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Service 10:30AM Grace Lutheran Church.
Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Friends will be received Friday 3-5 & 7-9PM.
