Linda Arena (nee Florek), 70, of Towaco, NJ on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Loving wife of the late Joseph Arena. Beloved mother of Lisa & her husband Mark Hovaniak, Christine & her husband Michael Wurzer, and Michael Arena. Dear sister of Barbara Kerrigan, Dorothy Mason, David Florek, Wayne Florek and the late Larry Mann. Beloved grandmother of Andrew, Amanda, Joseph & Lia. Cherished cousin of Donna Mandy. Mrs. Arena was born in West Virginia and was raised in Fairlawn and Middletown. She was a long time resident of Lyndhurst and Newark before moving to Towaco 26 years ago and also enjoyed her home in Wildwood Crest. She was a beautician and owner of Scorpio Hair Design. She worked for Shulton & American Cyanamid in Clifton. She ended her career in Ricoh in West Caldwell for 17 years. She loved her grandchildren and the beach and enjoyed her hobbies quilting and sewing. Funeral Saturday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
