It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorna Gnoinski, who left us peacefully on April 14, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on April 25, 1957, in Coral Gables, Florida to Peter Prihodko & Gracia Parisi, Lorna was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She spent her later years in Nutley, New Jersey, where she created a warm and welcoming home full of love.
Lorna was a proud graduate of the New York French Culinary Institute, reflecting her passion for food and her vibrant spirit. She channeled her entrepreneurial talent into her work as the owner of Kidz Xchange, where she dedicated herself to providing delightful experiences for children and families in her community.
Lorna is survived by her loving daughter, Lauren Stefanie Gnoinski; ex-husband, Edward Gnoinski; sisters, Jan Prihodko (Nicholas Dobromilsky) and Paula Prihodko Greer (Joseph Greer); her brother Peter A. Prihodko; as well as her cherished relatives, including nephews Ronald Kot, Nicholas Dobromilsky, Andrew Dobromilsky; nieces Cassandra Taggart and Alexandra Dobromilsky; and her beloved pug, Ruby. Each of them will carry forward the values of love, kindness, and resilience that Lorna instilled in them. She is predecased by her brothers, David Williams and Ronald P. Prihodko.
Friends & family will be recieved Monday 11AM-1PM. Funeral service 1PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel & Mausoleum.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the indelible mark she made on our hearts and lives. Lorna will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love and spirit will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
