Lorraine B. Slaby(nee Zupkie), 87, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday August 28, 2018. Beloved mother of Barbara & her husband Thomas Gefri and Joann & her husband Michael Sweeney. Loving grandmother of Brendon Gefri, Todd Gefri, Kelly DeCandia, Eileen Ferry, Shannon Lynch, and Michael Sweeney, Jr.. Adored great-grandmother of Eryn Ferry, Christina Ferry, Jolene Ferry, Emma Grace Gefri, and John Howard Lynch. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph and parents Joseph Hydt and Clara Zupkie. Lorraine was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church and a member of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Polish American Citizen Club(Lyndhurst), the Elks (Lyndhurst) Sacred Heart Seniors, and Kearny Seniors. Funeral Saturday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Michael's Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4-8 PM.
