Louis D'Apuzzo

D'Apuzzo, Louis, 85, of Fairfield, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 after a long illness. He was born in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Fairfield 38 years ago. He was a product developer for Goody Hair Products in Kearny, NJ for 40 years. He had several patents for hair products. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Josephine (nee Russo), sons Richard and his wife Jo Ann of Fairfield, Steven and his wife Celia of Lighthouse Point, FL., daughter Lois Hammer and her husband Nichael of Fairfield, sisters Ann Torre and Delores Fimmano, sister-in-law Marion Faillace. He is also survived by grandchildren Richard Jr. and Paula D'Apuzzo, Steven Jr. and Susan D'Apuzzo, Melissa and Frank Mirabile, Teddy, Lauren and Danny D'Apuzzo, Jennifer and Christina Jammer, great grandchildren Stephanie and Julianna Mirabile, Richard III, Isabella and Brianna D'Apuzzo. Funeral Thursday, December 4 from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 AM at St. Thomas More RC Church.
