Louise Bowman

Louise Bowman, 68, of East Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Clorinda and the late John Gori. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert W. Bowman. Loving mother of Nicholas Bowman & his fiancé Aimee, and Jessica & her husband Daniel Picinich. Dear niece, cousin, and friend to many.

Louise met Gil while working at Chemical Bank in Manhattan. They quickly fell in love and were married a little over a year later. They enjoyed married life together living in Virginia and New Jersey. After settling in Hasbrouck Heights and having children, Louise dedicated herself to caring for her family as a stay at home mom. She never missed a ballgame, concert, competition, class trip, or important event.

Louise returned to work at Gil’s law practice after Nick and Jessica were older and appreciated the chance to partner with him in running his business and spending more time together.

Louise enjoyed cooking cherished family recipes for her loved ones and hosting holidays and gatherings. She loved spending time in the backyard gardening, bird watching, and sharing stories and laughter with her husband and children.

Louise should be remembered for her generous, warmhearted, and empathetic spirit, and her selfless devotion to her family and friends.

Friends and family will be received at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Monday, August 5th from 4-8 PM. Funeral Tuesday at 9AM from the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
