Lucia A. Piccolo (nee Amato), 96, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Sebastiano. Loving mother of Pat of Weehawken, John of Riverdale, Maria Bio of East Hanover and Antoinette Piccolo of Lake Hiawatha. Dear sister of Alfonso Amato of Maopac, NY and the late Giuseppe Amato. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Born in Madison, NJ, at age 3 Mrs. Piccolo went to live in Italy, in the town of Marigliano. She returned to the US in 1954 and lived in the Bronx, NY. For 18 years she lived in Towaco with her son, Pat and daughter-in-law, Carolina before moving to Lake Hiawatha two years ago, with her daughter, Antoinette Piccolo. Funeral Friday at 10am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfiled, NJ. Funeral Mass Friday 11am at St. Vincent Martyr R. C. Church in Madison. Entombment Gate of Haven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
