Shields, Lucy (nee Jaronczyk), of Newington, Connecticut, formerly of North Arlington and Lodi, October 29, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Shields. Loving mother of Helen Garibaldi. Dear sister of Eugene Jaronczyk and Josephine Jankowski. Adored grandmother of four and great-grandmother of four. Mrs. Shields lived in the North Arlington/Lodi area for 35 years before moving to Newington, CT. 6 years ago. She was an assembler for Western Electric in Kearny for 30 years before retiring in 1976. Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM at St. Michael's RC Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 7-9PM
