Luis Fernandez

Luis Fernandez of Hackettstown, NJ died at home on November 28, 2005. Born in Havana, Cuba he came to the United States in 1969 and lived in Washington Township for 36 years before moving to Hackettstown a year ago. Luis received his Masters Degree from the University of Havana. He was an accountant and owned the Anderson Check Cashing Corporation in Hackensack for 10 years, retiring in 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Victoria and his dear children Luis, Jr. and Magaly Fernandez-Ghander. He was the cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Diana, Jason, Matthew, and Alex and 2 great-grandchildren, Julia and David. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 11am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
