Lydia Hahofer

Lydia Hahofer (nee Hayn), 95, of West Caldwell, formerly of Clifton, NJ departed this life on April 25, 2011. She is survived by her beloved husband Frank and her devoted son Dennis (Lia) Hahofer. A proud grandmother of Paul (Heather) and Jeffrey and her two adoring great-grandchildren Riley & Paige. She is also survived by her niece Elaine (Aaron) Fuchs, nephews Robert (Pat) Marosits and William Marosits. She is predeceased by parents Ottilie & Franz Hayn and sisters Olga and Elsa Sokasits. Lydia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Passaic and sang in their choir. She volunteered at Passaic General Hospital and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. At Lydia's request there will be no viewing and cremation will be private. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
