Manuel Martins Ribeiro

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Martins Ribeiro, who departed this life on January 12, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on March 24, 1945, in Adrao, Portugal, Manuel was a devoted family man who embraced life with warmth and kindness. He spent his years serving his community as a dedicated mason at Marini Bros, where his skilled hands and strong work ethic helped build not only structures but lasting relationships.

Manuel will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Maria De Lurdes Ribeiro, and his cherished children: Maria and her husband Jerome Levine, Americo Ribeiro, and Manuela and her husband Phil Reina. He was a proud grandfather to Sarah Levine, Joshua Levine, Isabella Reina, and Andrew Reina, who brought him much joy and laughter throughout his life. Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jose Domingos Ribeiro and Maria Da Caridade Martins.

As a family man rooted in love and family values, Manuel's legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His spirit will forever remain a guiding light for his family and friends.

The family invites all who knew and loved him to join them in celebrating his life and memory on Wednesday, January 15 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service Thursday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral mass 10 AM St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Lodi. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Manuel's journey on earth may have come to an end, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and remembrance of his family and friends.
