Marco J. Calamito

Marco J. Calamito died on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Allen Pavillion in Manhatten, NY at the age of 81. Born in Jersey City, he was a resident of Lyndhurst for many years. Marco was an inspector for the State of New Jersey. He was a member of the American Legion Post #139 of Lyndhurst, the Friendship Club of Lyndhurst and the Cosmo Damiano Social Club of Jersey City. He is survived by his sons Joseph of Medford Lakes, Anthony of Pequannock, his daughters Rose of Lyndhurst, Grace Volpe of Fairfield, Margaret Krieger of Fairport, NY, and Donna Gingerelli of Fairfield. Also surviving are a brother Louis and two sisters, Mary Stavalo and Theresa Drake.
The funeral Mass will be on Saturday at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church at 9:30am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Friday at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd Lyndhurst 2-4 & 7-9pm.
