Margarita Ditota

January 21, 1922 — December 15, 2009

Margarita Ditota, an accomplished pianist and translator, died on December 15, 2009 of cancer. Mrs. Ditota, or "Auntie" as she was called by all her nieces and nephews, played piano since she was 4 years old. She began playing on a piece of paper on which her mother drew black and white keys. She became an accomplished pianist by the age of 16. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Stephen Hauser & his wife Diana, Veronica & her husband Steve Ferriss, Claudia Hauser & Monica Bonamego, Gregory & his wife Teri Hauser, Paula & her husband Jon Rickert, Michael & his wife Nancy Hauser and grandnieces & grandnewphews Rachael, Deanna, Alex, Stephen & Jack. Also survived by her brother-in-law Arthur Erz. We will all miss her dearly. Funeral Saturday at 9:30AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10:30AM Holy Trinity RC Church. Interment Madonna Cemetery.
