Marie Berardi Lapolla

Marie Berardi Lapolla, 87, peacefully passed away at Tidewell Hospice House in Sarasota, Florida after a brief illness. Marie was a Manager at Lyn-Maid Lingerie factory store on Valley Brook Avenue in Lyndhurst for 26 years. She was loved by all her customers and made many lifelong friendships. Marie was also an account manager at Kraft Foods in North Bergen. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas J. Lapolla. She is survived by her sister Johanna Berardi Bancale (Ernest), her children, Nicholas (Linda), John (Kim) and Lisa Torres (Luis). Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington at a future date. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marie may be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 14 Commerce Drive, Cranford NJ 07016.
