Marie Cavalcante

Cavalcante, Marie (nee Scavetta), of Lyndhurst, NJ on April 1, 2006. Beloved wife of the late James V. Cavalcante. Loving mother of James J. and Robert Cavalcante. Dear sister of Phyllis Ferrara. Cherished grandmother of Susan Kimball, James Cavalcante, Robert Cavalcante, Jr. and Patrick Cavalcante, Mary Durkin and Catherine Faist. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cavalcante was a resident of Lyndhurst for 54 years. She was a floor supervisor at George Bollenback Mills in Lyndhurst for 15 years retiring in 1971. She was a member of the American Legion Post 139 Auxiliary, AARP, Sacred Heart Seniors, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Golden Age Club, all in Lyndhurst. Funeral Friday 8AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9AM at Sacred Heart RC Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Donations may be made in her name to Sacred Heart RC Church, 324 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.
