Marie Logatto

Logatto, Marie, 90, of East Rutherford for 73 years, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away on September 29, 2024. Loving mother of Gilbert Jr. & his wife Joni Logatto. Dear sister of Georgeanna Mathis. Cherished niece of Jeanette Dursi. Adored grandmother of Gilbert Logatto, III. Mrs. Logatto could always be found reading her devotional, newspaper, or a good book. She especially loved crossword puzzles. She enjoyed athletics from an early age, including softball and bowling, and was always rooting for her favorite teams, the Brooklyn Dodgers/LA, NY Giants, and players on the LPGA. Her home was warm and inviting, with music often playing. She took great pride in hosting and making others feel welcomed and cared for. She was known for her lasagna and pound cake. She was charitable and an inspiration to others on how she lived her life through the Golden Rule. She always had a smile on her face and loved to laugh. She had an unwavering commitment to prayer, her love of God, and church. Her selfless nature and precious soul will be sorely missed by her kids and grandson, and the many lives that she touched. Friends will be received Friday 4-8 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 AM Saint Joseph R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
