Mario Insana

Mario Insana, age 63 died November 21, 2003 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Italy, Mario lived in Jersey City before moving to Wood Ridge 27 years ago. He worked as a plumber and a builder for 27 years, serving as was the president of Sicilian Builders and Sicilian Plumbing and Heating. Mario was a member of Societa Militello of Brooklyn, New York. Surviving are his wife Anna (nee Tornusciolo)and two daughters Lina Lopardo and Phyllis Parisi all of Wood Ridge. He also leaves two brothers Franco of Italy and Antonio of Jersey City. Mario was the cherished grandfather of Joey, Jacqueline, Daniella, Gabriella, Anthony Mario, and Deanna. The funeral will be on Monday at 8:30am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst, NJ with a 9:30am Mass at Assumption Church in Wood Ridge. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
