Marita Poline

Marita Poline (nee Teehan) of Fairfield, entered into eternal life January 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Andrew E. "Barney" Poline. Loving mother of Marita M. Poline, Joanne Bohr and her husband Bob, Margaret Kaplan, Dorothy Washer and her husband Mike, and Andrea Henry and her husband Rich. Devoted grandmother of Michele, Robert, Jennifer, Michael, Daniel, and Thomas. Special great grandmother of Samantha, Jason, Henry, Mackenzie, and Ella. She was predeceased by her siblings Richard Teehan, John Teehan, Patricia McDonald and James Teehan. Marita was a founding member and president of the St. Thomas More Rosary Society, and member of the Little Falls Golden Agers and the Fairfield Seniors Club. She was born in New York City and grew up in New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland. Marita loved to travel and enjoyed her yearly trips to Water Island, USVI. Funeral Wednesday 9am from Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield. Funeral mass will be offered at 10am St. Thomas More Church. Interment to follow Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Friends will be received on Tuesday 3-7pm.
