Maruja Manotas

Maruja Manotas (nee Moreno) of Lyndhurst died on Tuesday May 9, 2006 at Passaic Beth Israel Hospital. Born in Columbia, South America, she lived in Flushing, NY for 8 years before moving to Lyndhurst, NJ 34 years ago. She worked as a translator and then as a bookeeper for Inter-American Cousel in Englewood. She is the beloved mother of Claudia Merli of Lyndhurst and Adrianna Serrao of Rutherford. Dear sister of Ezequiel Moreno, Elias Moreno and his wife Cecilia and the late Samuel Moreno and his wife Cecelia. Cherished grandmother of Anthony & Stephanie Serrao and Matthew & John Merli. The funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a private cremation to follow. Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
