Mary C. Napoli

Mary C Napoli (nee Iorio), a long time resident of Fort Lee, NJ and formerly of Union City, NJ died peacefully on Mother's Day, May 13, 2012. She was born on June 30, 1913 to James A. Iorio, PhG, PhD, OD, pharmacist and optician, and Anna Iorio (nee Masucci). She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and Aunt Mary. Her grandfather James V. Iorio was a building contractor in West Hoboken, NJ (presently Union City). After graduating from Emerson High School in Union City, She married Joseph Napoli, MD, on February 26, 1938. Mary was a homemaker, amateur artist, craft maker, doll maker, and great cook. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Her husband, brother Edward, and sister Rose Doerig predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Elaine Duncan and her husband David, her daughter Diane Napoli, and her son Joseph C. Napoli, MD and his wife Loretta. She was a loving Nana to her grandchildren - Dana Hall and her husband David Horesh, Richard Hall and his wife Jennifer, Jacob Hall and his wife Carolyn, Gina Gee and her husband Nicholas, and Laura Napoli - and 16 great grandchildren, who have survived her. Funeral Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass 11AM Madonna Church, Main St. Entombment Fairview Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 2-4PM & 7-9PM In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue suite#251, Denville, NJ 07834. In loving memory of Mary's sister Rose would be appreciated.
