Renna-Capuano, Mary C. (nee Scienzo), 90, of Winston Salem, N.C. on Friday, February 12, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Archie Capuano and the late Joseph Renna. Loving mother of Alfred Renna and Josephine Wittig. Dear sister of John Scienzo, Mitilda Giarusso and the late Tobey Scienzo and Anna Snryznk. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Keith, Debbie and Robert. Adored great-grandmother of Sydney, Adelle and Jillian. Loving mother-in-law of Grace. Mary was born and raised in Providence, RI on May 24, 1919, and resided in New Jersey where she married and raised a family. She moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 2002 following the death of her husband to be near her son. She quickly became a loving and beloved member of the community and was known for her laughter, joy and warmth. Her life was a stellar example of a deep dedication to family, friendship and joy. Those who knew her quickly were reminded that the important aspects of life rested in the bonds that people create with each other. She sang, she danced and she laughed and by doing so she added to the quality of everyone's life. Few speak her name who do not smile. Funeral Thursday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
