Mary Helen Carbone

Mary Helen Carbone died on September 18, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Lyndhurst 37 years ago. A member of the Lyndhurst Emblem Club # 72, she worked in sales at the New Jersey Sports Authority in East Rutherford. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband Romeo in 1999. She is survived by 2 nephews, Michael Carbone of Kearny and Nicholas Carbone of Belleville and two nieces, Josephine Mateuszczyk of Toms River and Louisa Kushpa of Carteret. Also surviving are several grandnieces and grandnephews, a great-grandniece and great grandnephew, as well as many loving relatives and friends. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 23 at 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst, with a 10am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Friends will be received on Monday 6-9PM.
