Mary Matarazzo

Mary Matarazzo (nee Cherubini) November 9, 1922- December 14, 2015. Survived by her husband of almost 70 years Patsy, her three children Patrick Matarazzo, Dr. Thomas Matarazzo & his wife Barbara, and Diane Handschin & her husband Michael, seven grandchildren Ida-Marie & her husband James Mascolo, Patrick & his wife Carol Matarazzo, Dina Matarazzo & her fianc Joseph Vitorino, Robert Matarazzo, Michael Handschin, Samantha Matarazzo, and Ryan Handschin, and her two great-grandchildren P.J. & Owen Matarazzo. She is also survived by many relatives in Italy and many loving nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Jack & Mario Cherubini. Mary was orignially from Union City, NJ and lived in Cliffside Park for her entire marriage. She also held residence in West Milford, NJ and Vista, CA. Mary played a vital role in her husband's income tax business. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved having her family around her especially on Sunday for her homemade meals. Mary will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Thursday 9AM from the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10AM Our Lady of Grace Church, Fairview. Interment Madonna Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-8PM.
