Mary Rose Rumore

Rumore, Mary Rose (nee Cersosimo), Born in Fort Lee on Nov. 23, 1921, where she lived most of her life. Departed while residing in Palisades Park on July 25, 2007. Beloved wife of The late Michael J., Loving Mother of Prudence Mary, Dr. Nathan Michael and his wife Theresa, & Frank Charles and his wife Nancy. Dear sister of Lucy and her husband Dominick Canonico and the late Ben Cersosimo. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Arielle, Stephanie, & Jonathan Rumore. Recognized as Maestro di Piano at age 15 by the New York Conservatory of Musical Arts. Mary taught piano in Fort Lee and Palisades Park for over 50 years. Mary also served in the Production Department at The Record, in Hackensack for 18 years, retiring in 1982, only to begin another career with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, retiring in 2005. Funeral Services, July 30, 2007, Monday, 10am from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass at 11am, Madonna Chapel on the Hill, Fort Lee followed by interment at Madonna Cemetery. Friends will be received 2-6pm, Sunday.
