Matthew Peter Delorenzo

DeLorenzo, Matthew Peter, of Fairfield, NJ, on Monday, August 25, 2008. Beloved husband of Carina DeLorenzo (nee Metz). Loving father of Marc and Michael DeLorenzo. Dear brother of Andrew, Peter and the late Robert DeLorenzo. Cherished grandfather of Amelia, Julia, Zachary and Thomas DeLorenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. DeLorenzo was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton and Lake Hiawatha before moving to Fairfield 34 years ago. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He served as Chaplin for the Morris County Dept. of Corrections. He was pastor at the Jacksonville Chapel for the past 18 years. Funeral Service 10AM Friday, August 29 at the Jacksonville Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Rd., Lincoln Park, NJ. Friends will be received Thursday, August 28 from 2-4 and 6-8PM.
