Maureen D. Gibbons, born on March 20, 1950, in Newark to Alfred & Ida Intindola passed away on March 2, 2025, just shy of her 75th birthday.
Maureen dedicated over 35 years of her professional life as a Senior Tax Professional at H&R Block in Rutherford, where her expertise and dedication were highly respected. Prior to her successful career in tax preparation, she graduated from Wilfred academy and spent 15 + years working as a beautician, showcasing her talent daily.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Gibbons, Sr. Loving mother of Thomas and Christopher & his wife Bridget. Devoted grandmother of Madison, Juliana, Christopher, and James. Dear sister of Virginia Gaccione and the late Alfred Patrick Intindola, Jr. Also survived by many nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends.
Maureen will be remembered for her warmth, sharp wit, and unwavering support for her family and friends. Her legacy is a testament to her hard work and love for those around her.
Visitation Sunday at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 1-3 & 6-8PM. Funeral Service Monday 9 Am at the funeral with a Mass to follow at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
