Kloss, Sr., Michael J. , 72, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, March 22, 2009. Husband of Rose Girardi Kloss. Loving Father of Mary Frances Alfieri, Michael Kloss, Jr., & David M. Kloss. Dear Brother of the late Maurice Kloss, and the late Ann Glory. Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Nicholas and Vincent. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Michael moved to Lyndhurst 47 years ago. A member of the NJ meat cutters union, he was a butcher for over 50 years for Kingsland Meat Company, and Shoprite both of Lyndhurst and most recently for Pathmark in Newark. Michael was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Sacred Heart Holy Name Society. Funeral Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 12 noon. Rev. Stephen Alfieri officiating at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
