Michael James Leno

Michael James Leno, 86, died on Monday, June 5, 2006 at his home in Fairfield watching the Yankees beat the Red Sox, with his entire family around him. Beloved husband of 66 years of Lena (nee DelGuercio) Leno. Loving father of Pat & his wife Tina and Rosalie Anne & her husband Al. Cherished grandfather of Mychele & fiance Jonathan, Michael & wife Danielle, Alex, Trisha & husband Dominic. Dear great-grandfather of Dominic, Alexa & Katarina. Michael was a World War II veteran. Michael & Lena lived in Fairfield for 41 years, coming from Nutley. He retired from Spring Air in North Arlington in 1982 after 31 years of service. Funeral Thursday 9:00am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield with a 10:00 am Mass at St. Thomas More RC Church in Fairfield. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington. Friends will be recieved Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
