Michael Keefe

Michael R. Keefe (51) passed away on March 29, 2024.

Mike was born to Elizabeth and Robert Keefe on August 20, 1972, in Greensburg, PA. 

After graduating Greensburg Central Catholic High School, he attended University of King’s College Foundation Year in Nova Scotia. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Philosophy and Literature. He then went on to achieve his Master’s of Education at Duquesne University.

After moving to New Jersey in 1995, Mike began a robust career (over 25 years) as a New York technology sales executive working for such companies as Hewlett Packard, Riverbed, and Gigamon. His clients included Bloomberg, Becton Dickinson, Dow Jones, and Coach to name a few.

When he was not working, one could find Mike on the golf course, at a concert, at a flea market or watching his Pittsburgh teams, especially the Steelers. He was always open to an experience and making that experience special for everyone. He traveled literally around the world to Tahiti and New Zealand but was just as happy at home.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife Erin (nee:  O’Brien) of 25 years, his children who filled him with joy & pride, Anna, George, James and Henry.  His loving parents Elizabeth and Robert Keefe. Devoted brother of Greg (Krissy) Keefe and Lisa (Bryan) Braman. Caring son-in-law of Anne O’Brien. Dear brother-in-law of David O’Brien, Sharon Romer (Michael), and Elizabeth Lauck (Robert). Special uncle to his wonderful nieces & nephews Veronica, Audra, Bryan, Isaac, Michael, Milo and Nicholas. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mike’s memory to the Lyndhurst Music Association, 400 Weart Ave. Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst.  Friends will be received on Tuesday 2-6pm.  Interment Friday Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
