Michael D. Lee, Sr.

Michael D. Lee, age 79, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Jersey City Heights to the late Annie and John Lee. Beloved husband to Sophie (nee Bahen), loving father to son Michael and daughter Michele, and cherished brother to Kenny & his wife Marion, and Johnny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was totally devoted to his faithful guard dog Sam. Michael was also the proprietor of Mickey Lee’s Unisex Salon in Jersey City for over 35 years, and when he wasn’t styling hair, he will also be fondly remembered for his passion for cooking by his family and many friends. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, August 20, 11 AM at St. Nicholas Church in Palisades Park.
