Michael Raccioppi

Michael Raccioppi passed away on May 6th at the age of 66 in Red Bank, NJ. Born in Jersey City, Mike grew up in North Bergen, where he attended North Bergen High School. He was a graduate of St. Peters College, Class of 1978, and had a successful career in the trucking industry. Although not a native of Bayonne, it became his adopted hometown after marrying his college sweetheart Colleen Dugan. Michael was a devoted husband, father and Pop and a lifelong fan of the Giants, Yankees and Rangers. He was a Eucharistic Minister and Usher at St Henrys Parish in Bayonne, where he also served on a number of parish committees.
Son of the late Lillian and Michael Raccioppi, Michael is survived by his wife Colleen Raccioppi, nee Dugan, his three children: Erin and her husband Mike Jakubowski, Katie and her husband Bill Urbanski, Michael and his wife Heather Raccioppi, his grandson, Michael Jakubowski, bonus grandchildren Alyssa, Mia and Jaxon Urbanski and his sister and brother-in-law Angela and Robert Gariano.
Funeral Tuesday at 8:30AM from the Caiola Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 9:30AM St. Henry's RC Church, Bayonne. Friends will be received Monday 3-7PM.
In lieu of flowers, Michael's family asks that donations be made in his honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Ste 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
