Michael Sabol

Sabol, Michael, 82, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015. Beloved son of the late Andrew & Mary (nee Mishko) Sabol. Loving brother of John Sabol, Andrew Sabol and Evelyn Marie Benyo who was also his caregiver. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and predeceased by his nephew David Sabol. Mr. Sabol graduated from Bayonne Technical High School and from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War 1954-1956. He worked for Childcraft Educational Network before retiring. He was President and Caretaker of St. Mary's Carpatho-Russian Greek Catholic Orthodox Church and an Officer of St. Mary's American Carpatho-Russian Youth, Chapter 36. He was also a freelance photographer. Funeral Service Thursday 11AM at St. Mary's Orthodox Catholic Church. Friends will be received Thursday 9-10:30AM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
