Michael T. Mecka, 56, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Beloved father of Michael Mecka & his wife Jessica and Dana Mecka. Cherished grandfather of Braelynn Mecka & Lucas Mecka. Dear brother of Valory Bardinas & her husband Felix, Louis Mecka & his wife Melissa, Chester Mecka & his wife Heather, John Mecka & his wife Nicole, and Linda Grasselli & her husband Marti. Also survived by former longtime companion Patricia Sielski and her children Kaitlin & Justin, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and former wife Michele Mecka (nee Grant). He is predeceased by his parents Chester & Dorothy Mecka and his godson Michael. Michael was a Union Carpenter employed by Local 6 and Silverman & Associates. Friends will be received at Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, Friday 4-8. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, Funeral Mass 10AM St. Andrew Church of Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish with cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Crematory, Clifton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
