Miguel Ivan Solrzano, 68, of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Ivan is survived by his beloved wife Klary Solorzano; his beautiful children Michelle, Ashley, Jonathan, Ivan JR, Norman, and Amanda; and two grandchildren Victoria and Marco; and his brothers and sisters: Franco Osvaldo, Walter Orlando, Norman Agusto, Jorge Eduardo, Wilman Enrique, Alva Esperansa. He is predeceased by his sister Blanca Graciela Solorzano; his brothers Luis Alfredo Solorzano and Wilman Armando. Ivan was born in Loja, Ecuador, on November 23, 1948. Loja was a small town for Ivans big dreams. Out of the 10 children, Ivan was the first in his family to seek out opportunities outside of their hometown, leading him to Guayaquil, Ecuador, then on to Canada where shortly after many of his family followed. Ivan wasnt afraid to act on his ideas which led him to his home in New Jersey where he was a true entrepreneur. He was able to start up endeavors, establish them and move on to his next endeavor including publishing a magazine, international calling cards and established himself as a realtor with United Real-Estate. Ivan truly believed in an active and healthy lifestyle and promoted it to anyone he would meet. He was an avid tennis and racquetball player and his passion for a healthy diet led him to his final endeavor starting up an alkaline water retail store with his children. He was a motivator, the family peacekeeper and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Funeral service Thursday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church, 172 Broadway, Newark. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
