Mildred A. Rizzuto

Rizzuto, Mildred A., 84, of Secaucus, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 while living her last four months in an assisted living home in Montville, NJ. Her life was awe-inspiring to her entire family and she never wavered from her undying devotion to every one of them. She will truly be missed. Mrs. Rizzuto was an executive secretary, working for the General Tire and Rubber Company in East Rutherford, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in October of 1987 at the age of 64. She was the devoted wife of the late Peter S. Rizzuto; beloved and dedicated mother of Manny & his wife Natalie, Rick & his wife Terri, Peter & his wife Mardi; cherished sister of Lorraine Luzzo & her husband Lou, Salvatore Catena & his wife Gloria; Loving grandmother to Peter, Ann, Manny, Ricky, Francesca & Daniella. Special great grandmother to Steven, Peter, Sam, Logan, Bryce. She is also survived by a myriad of relatives and special friends. Mildred Rizzuto was a true hero to her three sons. Through her diligence, discipline, values and love, she changed the course of their lives and insured their success from childhood to adulthood. They, along with many, will sorely miss her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lynhurst, NJ. Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday at 9AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in Lyndhurst at 10AM which will celebrate her remarkable life.
