Mildred Loretta Ferraro

Ferraro, Mildred (nee Mangini), 98, of Manchester, NJ passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at her home. Born in North Bergen, she was formerly a resident of Lyndhurst for 80 years and had been a resident of Manchester for 10 years. Mildred's greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her love of life and her welcoming smile. Mildred was also a fan of the N.Y. Yankees. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John. Survived by her sister Lorraine Suter & her husband Joseph of Fawn Lake, PA; her children Mildred Madonia & her husband Vincent of Wayne, NJ. Barbara Smith of Clifton, NJ. Joann Luzzi & her husband Nunzi of Manchester, NJ. John Ferraro & his wife Shelley of Roseland, NJ. Her grandchildren Janice Flaherty & her husband Tom, James Madonia & his wife Wendy and Barbara Cabibbo & her husband Roy, Laure Barrett & her husband Fred, Richard Gowe & his wife Jacqueline, Robert Gowe & his wife Sue, Carolyn DeBellis & her husband Cosmo, Scott Gowe & his wife Melissa, Gene Gowe, & John Gowe. Mrs. Ferraro is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great granddaughters & her godchild Mildred Lupinacci of Lyndhurst. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9.
