Ballweg, Mildred M. (nee Filipow) of Fairfield, NJ, on April 8, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Harold Ballweg who passed away in 2005. Loving mother of LouAnn Bode of Plano, TX, Karen Primich of Fairfield, NJ and Kristine Lagoda of Carmichael, CA. Dear sister of June Rossmeissl of Winter Springs, FL and Sophie Ann Willand of Montville, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Andrea Cannariato, Brooke Bode and Brett Bode. Mrs. Ballweg was a true life long resident of Fairfield. She was born and died in the same room of her family home. She was a secretary for International Proteins Corp. for 19 years before retiring in 1988. Previously she had worked for Curtis-Wright. She was treasurer for the Eveready Club of the Fairfield Reformed Church. She was also a choir member of the church. Mrs. Ballweg was also a member of the Fairfield Historical Society. Funeral Friday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Service 11 AM at the Fairfield Reformed Church. Burial in the Fairfield Reformed Church Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations may be made in her name to the Fairfield Reformed Church, 360 Fairfield Rd., Fairfield, NJ 07004.
