Milton Golowski

Golowski, Milton, 92, formerly of Lyndhurst currently residing in Columbus, NJ, on Friday, June 11, 2010. Mr. Golowski was born in Newark and lived in Lyndhurst most of his life. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Golembiewski). Loving father of Joseph & his wife Melanie and Brian & his wife Anne Golowski. Dear brother of Bruno Golowski and Steffie Brandis. Cherished grandfather of Trystin, Camille & Nolan. Mr. Golowski was a retired Union Steel worker. He served in the US Army from 1941 to 1945 as a Technical Sergeant and was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart Medals. He was a member of St. Michael's Holy Name Society. Funeral Tuesday, June 15, at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
