Muriel Hansen, born on March 19, 1927, Kenilworth, NJ, peacefully passed away at her home May 29, 2024. She leaves behind grieving family members and friends including her husband of 70 years, David P. Hansen, daughters Carolyn H. Iacoviello & Suzanne P. Hansen, son-in-law John M. Iacoviello, grandsons Jeffrey P. Iacoviello and Andrew P. Iacoviello, as well as nieces and nephews, Jeanne Gingles, Glenn Wolff, Scott Wolff, and Wendy Wolff. Among those who preceded her in passing are her brother Fredrick Wolff and nephew Robert Wolff.
Muriel found joy in various hobbies and interests throughout her life, including being a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Her passion for gardening, crocheting, and reading brought her immense happiness and fulfillment. She had a dedicated career that began at Carpenter Steel and concluded upon retirement from Dunn & Bradstreet before she retired to the sunny Florida.
Services to honor and celebrate the life of Muriel Hansen will be held at Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home in Fort Lee on June 7, 2024. The visitation will take place from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. The final farewell will be at Flower Hill Cemetery in North Bergen with a graveside service starting at 1:00 PM.
