Nicholas Delli Santi

Nicholas Charles Delli Santi, 73, of Kearny, New Jersey, formerly of Newark, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Nicholas was a long standing member of Union Local 1814. He worked for Domino Sugar in Brooklyn, NY for many years and other ports in NJ and NY. He went on to retire from Global Terminal in Bayonne, NJ. Nicholas also known by his friends as "Nicky Shocks" was involved with many social clubs in the Ironbound Section of Newark. He was a sports enthusiast who also loved horse racing. He is predeceased by his parents Nichola A. Delli Santi & Mildred Delli Santi (nee Lodato) and his brother Patrick Delli Santi. Survived by his beloved wife Christine Delli Santi (nee Kalinchak). Loving children, Nicholas Delli Santi II & his wife Sharon, and Danielle Balzer & her husband Henry. Adored grandchildren Dante, Nikkolo, and Luca Delli Santi, and Henry Balzer. Dear sister Linda Mariano & her fianc Nicholas Andoldi. His kind heart will never be forgotten and he will be sorely missed by all the lives he touched. Funeral Tuesday at 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30AM St. Stephen's Church, Kearny. Cremation private. Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM.
