Nicholas M. Pallotta

Nicholas M. Pallotta, Sr., 88, native of Palisades Park, NJ, affectionately known as "Gigs", died in Boonville, NY November 14, 2010. Son of the late Michael & Martha (nee Victerella) Pallotta, husband of the late Louise (nee Ascione) Pallotta, he was a US Navy WWII Veteran, and employed for many years in freight transportation by Heedams Motor Service, Philadelphia, PA. Survived by two sons and their wives, Michael (Wendy) Pallotta, Constableville, NY, Nicholas (Kathy) Pallotta, Otter Lake, NY, grandsons Jason, Jamie, Michael (Lorena) Pallotta, a step great grandson Derek, two sisters, Frances Parker, Dumont, NJ, Camille Anderson, Lake Hopatcong, NJ, two brothers, Frank, Paterson, NJ, James, Ridgefield, NJ, predeceased by sisters Mary Kida, Rose Pollut and by a brother Jake. Funeral Friday at 9 AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park. Interment with military rites Saturday at Woodgate Cemetery, Woodgate, NY. Friends will be received Thursday 4-8 PM.
