Nicholas Mastrandrea

Nicholas Mastrandrea, 83, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. Beloved husband of 57 years to Yvonne (nee Payette) Mastrandrea. Loving father of Nick Jr. & his wife Carol Mastrandrea, Donna & her husband Bob Zapparrata, and Debbie & her husband Joe Lombardo Jr. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Johnny, Nicky, Nicole, Alexis, Robert, Alyssa, Joseph & Daniella. Adored brother of Faye Scuturo and the late Frank Mastrandrea & Anna Lomanto. Dear brother-in-law of the late Matty Scuturo and Fran Mastrandrea. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Mr. Mastrandrea was a US Army veteran serving as an MP during the Vietnam Era from 1961-1967. He was the Manager of the Meat Department at Man-Dell Foods in Queens, NY before retiring in 1991. Nick was proud of his service in the military and was a true family man. He and his wife were inseparable, they loved spending time together but their true joy came from spending time with their grandchildren. They especially loved taking them to breakfast and having them over for movie nights. Funeral Monday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Sunday 2 - 6PM.
