Nicholas A Protomastro, a dedicated individual who worked for ADP Jersey City, NJ, has sadly passed away on June 21 2024, in Wayne, NJ. He was born on January 16, 1940, in Hoboken. Nicholas led a fulfilling life filled with love, generosity, and hard work.  In his professional career at ADP, Nicholas's commitment and diligence left a lasting impact on those around him. His serving in the Army Reserves for 4 years showcased his sense of duty and patriotism.  Nicholas had a thirst for knowledge and education. He graduated from St Michaels HS in Union City and attended St Peters College in Jersey City. His dedication to learning was evident in all aspects of his life.  Outside of work and education, Nicholas had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. From collecting coins and baseball cards to model cars, he found delight in the simple pleasures of life.  Those who knew Nicholas will remember him as a kind-hearted and outgoing individual. He was not only a loving father but also a devoted husband. His family meant the world to him, and he took pride in being their provider.  He is predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine, mother Vincenzia, sisters Ann Murphy and Joan Nintzel, and brother Robert Protomastro. Nicholas is survived by his son David & his wife Sabrina Protomastro, and brother Gerard & his wife Joan Protomastro.  A memorial service to celebrate the life of Nicholas A Protomastro will be held on June 29, 2024. The service will take place at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Fairfield starting at 3:00 PM. It is an opportunity for family and friends to come together to honor his memory and share fond memories of a remarkable individual.  Nicholas will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his legacy of love, hard work, and kindness live on in the hearts of those he touched.
