Nicholas Stephen York, born on July 10, 1947, in Queens, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Fairfield, NJ at the age of 77. Nicholas, a devoted family man and a talented computer programmer, will be remembered for his significant contributions to the world of technology, as well as his passion for gaming and his close-knit family bonds.

Alongside his beloved wife, Annemarie York, Nick co-founded Polital Enterprises, LLC in Fairfield, where they successfully provided consulting and software development services for over 40 years. His professional life was marked by dedication and a profound commitment to excellence.

Outside of his professional achievements, Nicholas was an avid war gamer known by the moniker "Sykron" with the North Jersey Irregulars. His love for strategy and competitive spirit fostered countless friendships over the years, highlighting his ability to connect with others through mutual interests.

Beloved husband of Annemarie (nee Dimino) York. Loving father of Stephen Patrick, Antonina "Toni" Marie and Francesca Anne. Cherished brother of Victor York & his wife Evie York, Nina Marchioni & her husband Michael, Celeste Marie Girrell, and Stanley & his wife Soni York. Adored adoptive "grandfather" to Anika, Aanya, and Aanika. Dearest friend of John Casazza. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration that will resonate with his family and friends for generations to come.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, 7-9PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, March 21, 11AM at St. Thomas More Church. Cremation Private
