Nickolaus Bikoff, a dedicated Police Officer who served the Township of Montclair with honor and integrity passed away on the 12th of November 2024, at his residence in Fairfield, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on the 23rd of August 1942 in Maribor, Yugoslavia, Mr. Bikoff led a life marked by commitment and service. Educated with an Associate's Degree, he joined the Army and a Military Police Officer and later embarked on a successful career in law enforcement, where his unwavering dedication and sense of duty earned him the respect and admiration of all who crossed his path.
Mr. Bikoff was the proud owner of Nick Bikoff's Antiquarian Books. He found much joy traveling the world to find rare, aged books to sell through his online store for many years. Nick will be watching the Jets from Heaven to see if they will ever make the Super Bowl!!
Nickolaus leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by his beloved wife, Fran, son John "Jack" Bikoff & his wife Noelle, daughter Donna Bikoff, and granddaughter Marielle. His memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mass of Christian Burial to honor Nickolaus Bikoff's life will be held at the St. Thomas More Church on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Prior visitation will take place at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home on the same day from 11-1pm, offering an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects to a man who embodied loyalty and courage in all aspects of his life.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
