Oleh Baczynskyj

Baczynskyj, Oleh, 83, of Rutherford, NJ, on Friday, June 8, 2007. Mr. Baczynskyj was born in Berezhany, Ukraine and fled communism to Germany in 1939 where he studied Forestry Engineering in Erlangen. He married Jadwiga in October 1948 and arrived in New York City, in 1950 to settle. He lived in Jersey City for many years before moving to Rutherford. He is the loving father of Oksana, Andrew, nd Martha and the cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Eugene, Juliana, Andrew, Adam, Steven and Ariana. Funeral Service 10AM at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sanford Ave., Newark, NJ. Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9PM Tuesday, Parastas 7:30PM.
