Owen Patrick Melville

Owen Patrick Melville, 83. Surrounded by his family, Owen "Pat" Melville returned to God on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Born in Portaferry, Northern Ireland, he immigrated to the United States in 1957. A founding member of Glenkaylin Ltd., and AIMS, the American Irish Musicians Society, he lived a life in celebration of the American dream set to Irish music. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-six years, Katherine King Melville, their daughter and son-in-law, Marilynn & Stephen Halas and grandchildren Katherine, Elizabeth, Alexandra & George Halas. He is also survived by his sister, 2 brothers and their families. Funeral Thursday at 9:30 AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment Madonna Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 5-9 PM.
