LENO, Pasquale "Pat" age 71, of Fairfield, NJ passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on April 27, 2015.
Born June 17, 1943 in Newark, NJ he lived in Nutley, NJ for ten years and graduated from Nutley Senior High School in 1962.
Pat retired as a Lieutenant from the Fairfield, NJ Police Dept. in 1998 after 31 years of service. He was a Veteran of The U.S. Army Reserves where he served 6 years.
Pat was parishioner of St. Thomas More Church in Fairfield, NJ. He is an original founder of The Fairfield Conservation & Sportsmen's Association that is still thriving since 1971. He had great love for the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. He helped to establish and perpetuate the annual Fairfield Fishing Derby where the members of his club sponsored a day each year where the children of Fairfield could learn and experience the sport and fun of fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Tina (Houmis) Leno, his son Michael J. Leno (Danielle), his daughter, Trisha Sedicino (Dominic), and his grandchildren, Dominic Sabatino Sedicino, Alexa Elizabeth Sedicino, Katarina Lynn Leno, Michael Pasquale Leno and Victoria Lynn Leno.
Pat is also survived by his sister Rosalie Lepinsky (Al), brother-in-law Louis Houmis, sister-in-law Angie Dailey (Ronnie) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and aunts. He also leaves behind many friends, and his best friend of 50 years he called his brother, John "Moe" Sczyglinsky (Janice).
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Michael James Leno in 2006 and his mother Lena R. Leno in 2011.
